Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 for Windows 95/98
Once you have opened Outlook Express, click on 'tools' and select
'accounts'
Click on the 'News' tab, and you should see your ACMENET
mail account. Click on your account, and then select 'Properties'
If you don't see a ACMENET News Account, click on 'Add'
and select 'News'. This will take you through a wizard setting up your
account, which is very similar to the email setup for IE4.0's basic installation.
This is the General tab, here, you can change the name of the News account, and your Email
address. Also you can change your Display name here.
Here you can check you server settings on this tab. You should have
news.acmenet.net for your Server Name in lowercase letters.
This service will require you to log on with a Username and Password when sending and receiving newsgroup
postings. Use your dialup username: username@acmenet.net and your
password when prompted for.
